Joseph Guay (Boston, MA) is an Associate at The Policy Lab. Based in San Francisco, he specializes in the field of humanitarian innovation, and has developed innovation strategies for a number of major humanitarian organizations. He has supported the development of information management solutions across the humanitarian and human rights field, including work with the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative, and has taught on the subject at Northeastern University's Geographic Information Technology Program. Joe has contributed to information management projects in support of the Ebola pandemic and Nepal earthquake responses, the Syrian refugee crisis, and on human trafficking in the Horn of Africa. A social scientist by training, he has a Masters in Political Science from Suffolk University in Boston and a Bachelor of Arts and Science from Lehigh University (Bethlehem, PA).
